Studying on a Campus of Small Distances

The school is situated close to the historic downtown of Reutlingen at a quiet location with all infrastructural advantages. The venerable city lies at the foot of the beautiful “Swabian Alb” and offers every convenience of a modern community with 110.000 inhabitants while maintaining its old-world charm. There is good public transportation to the nearby metropolitan area of Stuttgart and its international airport (STR).

Reutlingen School of Theology offers a "campus of short distances": buildings for teaching, research and living are closely linked and form an attractive location for an inspiring learning experience.

Due to our relatively small community and a compact campus Reutlingen School of Theology allows for close connections and frequent communication between faculty and students. Flats of different size, accommodating singles, couples or families, can be rented at reasonable rates in two modern housing complexes.

The Central Archives of the United Methodist Church in Germany is located at RST, and the library contains more than 50.000 volumes mainly in the field of theology. Daily morning devotions, prayer and bible study groups as well as a weekly worship service provide ample opportunity for spiritual practice and growth. Sports and various on-campus-events also strengthen our life as community.
